Getting More Air: Fan Performance with NWR

On October 22, Nick Agius, Founding Partner at Fan-Div, was invited by NWR to lead a session for their team on air-cooled heat exchanger fan performance.

The focus was inlet bells. Many standard bells supplied in North America don't meet industry standards on fans over 9 ft in diameter, and the shape of the bell has a real impact on how much air a fan actually moves. Nick walked the group through the differences and brought a full-size E-Bell™ so they could see the elliptical profile up close.
