Fan and drive parts for Air-X-Changers coolers
Air-X-Changers builds air coolers for gas compression: engine jacket water, compressor gas stages and lube oil, often on one packaged cooler. We supply replacement fans, blades, hubs, belts, sheaves, bearings and drive parts for them, plus upgrades like the E-Bell™ and the DG-II Anti Rotation Device®, matched to your Air-X model.
Models covered: EH, F, 2F, 3F, H, 2H, VI, VV, Z, 2Z and 3Z.
Air-X-Changers doesn't make fans. It builds the cooler around them, so the quickest way for us to match parts is the Air-X model and the drive: engine, electric motor or hydraulic.

Reading an Air-X model number
Air-X-Changers puts the model number on the cooler nameplate. Examples from Air-X's brochure:
- 132-2F: a Model F with two 132 in fans.
- 180-3Z: a Model Z with three 180 in fans.
- 24-EH: a Model EH with one 24 in fan.
Read us the model number and we'll work out the fan size and layout from there.
What we supply for Air-X coolers

Do you supply fans for Air-X-Changers compressor coolers?
Yes. We supply replacement fans, blades, hubs, belts, sheaves, bearings and drive parts for Air-X-Changers coolers, on engine driven, electric motor and hydraulic drives. Tell us the Air-X model and what's failing, and we'll match the parts.
Can you upgrade the fan on an engine driven Air-X cooler?
Often, yes. On an engine driven cooler the fan speed follows the engine, so we look at the fan, the drive and the engine speed together before we recommend a blade, a pitch change or an E-Bell™ inlet bell. Tell us the Air-X model and the engine speed if you have it.
What's the difference between the Air-X Model F and Model Z?
In Air-X-Changers' brochures, the Model F is a horizontal coil cooler with vertical forced draft fans, mainly engine driven, with two or three fans each in its own plenum, for about 250 to 4,500 hp of compression. The Model Z is a larger bolt together cooler, forced or induced draft, on electric motor or hydraulic drives, with two or three fans, for about 500 to 10,000 hp.
