Cofimco axial fan parts and blades
Cofimco, in Italy since 1975, makes aluminum and fiberglass axial fans for air coolers, cooling towers and air cooled condensers (ACCs), from 4 to 40 ft. We supply Cofimco blades, hubs and replacement fans, matched to your fan.
Series covered: U, B, M, AV and G hubs; TANDEM®, ProSilenX®, 50F, 50L, 60F and 35F blades.
Cofimco pairs a hub series with a blade line, in extruded aluminum or pultruded fiberglass (FRP). Tell us the series and the fan diameter and we'll match blades, a hub or the whole fan.

B (FLEXI): Cofimco says the flexible link sharply cuts vibration and avoids resonance, even on a VFD.
G: Cofimco says the blades can shift in or out about 2 in to tune the diameter or the tip clearance.

TANDEM®: Cofimco says the twin airfoil adds lift, cuts drag and power, and runs quieter.
60F: Cofimco rates it at up to 10 dB(A) quieter than standard fiberglass blades, with more than 3,000 units supplied since 1999.
35F: built for offshore, seawater and VFD wet service. Cofimco says it greatly reduces loads on the supporting structure.
Cofimco AV auto variable fans
The AV fan changes blade pitch on the run with a pneumatic actuator, built on the B or M hub, up to 18 ft. If the air supply fails, Cofimco says the pitch goes to maximum or minimum, whichever the customer chose at order, and an optional air lock valve holds the last pitch instead. A Cofimco upgrade in BC
At a BC facility in 2021, our team upgraded the Cofimco fan blades on a cooler. In 35°C weather, the upgraded unit was the only one operations could keep running, and the site expected the gains would let it drop plans to replace its coolers. See the result.

Do you supply Cofimco fan blades in Canada?

What's the difference between Cofimco's U, B and M hubs?
Per Cofimco: the U hub is a forged steel hub for fans from 4 to 16 ft, each blade held by two U bolts. The B (FLEXI) hub, 5 to 20 ft, links each blade to the hub through a flexible high tensile steel element, which Cofimco says sharply cuts vibration and avoids resonance, even on a VFD. The M hub, up to 20 ft, clamps each blade shaft between two machined steel forgings.
Is there a low noise Cofimco blade?
Cofimco offers two. ProSilenX® is its super low noise line, from 7 to 22 ft. The 60F is rated by Cofimco at up to 10 dB(A) quieter than standard fiberglass blades.
