Multi-Wing axial fan parts for industrial coolers
Multi-Wing makes modular axial fan impellers from 7.8 to 108 in, where the blades and hub combine and the pitch is adjustable. In oil and gas and industrial plants they run on smaller air coolers, radiators, and engine and compressor package coolers. We supply Multi-Wing blades, hubs and complete impellers, matched to your fan.

Multi-Wing has built axial fans since 1938. Its system has 40 blade profiles and 37 hubs, from 200 to 2,746 mm (7.8 to 108 in). Blades and hubs combine, and the pitch adjusts. Changing the pitch also changes how wide the fan sits.

W series: Multi-Wing gives a pitch range of 20 to 50 degrees in 1 degree steps, with hubs for 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 13 blades.
EMAX4: 5, 6, 7, 9 or 12 blades, pitch 20 to 48.5 degrees, and it fits existing Multi-Wing hubs. Multi-Wing says it runs 2 to 3 dB quieter.
Read your Multi-Wing impeller code
Multi-Wing identifies an impeller with a code on the hub. Its own example:
850/6-6L/PMAX4 @1800 rpm
- 850: fan diameter in mm (33.5 in).
- 6: number of blades.
- 6L: the blade profile.
- PMAX4: the hub.
- @1800 rpm: the speed.
Multi-Wing says most profiles come in both rotations, for pusher (blowing) or puller (suction) setups. Read us the code and we'll match the parts.

Multi-Wing publishes its impeller brochure on its own site, linked at the bottom of this page. For a replacement, you don't need the catalogue: call us and read us the impeller code off the hub if you have it, and we'll match the blades, hub or complete impeller.
How do I read a Multi-Wing impeller code?
Multi-Wing's example is 850/6-6L/PMAX4 @1800 rpm: an 850 mm (33.5 in) fan with 6 blades of the 6L profile on a PMAX4 hub, running at 1800 rpm.
