E-Bell™ elliptical inlet bells for air cooler fans
The E-Bell™ smooths the air into your fan, so it moves more air and makes less tip noise. Pick your fan size to see the bell that fits.

Let's size this one together
Standard E-Bells run from 4 to 20 ft.
Standard E-Bells cover 4 to 20 ft fans. We work on fans up to 40 ft, so bigger isn't a problem; it just needs a design.
Enter your fan diameter to see the bell that fits it.

About the E-Bell™
It's the world's first fiberglass, adjustable, sectional, elliptical inlet bell, created by Nick Agius, our Founding Partner, known as The Fan Guy. It mounts on the fan ring you already have, so there's no new construction. Fan-Div is the global distributor.
Standard sizes fit virtually every fan from 4 to 20 ft, cut from engineering cut sheets by Russell De Jesus, P.Eng.
Three things a deeper inlet does
More air
Air has to turn into the fan. Without a smooth inlet it can't turn fast enough and starves the blade out at the tip, where most of the work is done. That alone can cost up to 5% of fan efficiency. The bell feeds the tip properly.
Quieter tips
Cleaner air onto the tip means less tip noise, which is why the E-Bell™ gets specified where noise limits are tight.
Less recirculation
The bell is deep enough to act as a barrier to hot air coming back down and around into the fan inlet, a persistent problem on SAGD sites and gas plants.
Common questions
What size do I measure?
The fan diameter, blade tip to blade tip. It's on the fan or air cooler spec sheet. Fan make and tip clearance don't change the bell size.
My fan is between sizes. Now what?
The calculator sizes up to the next whole foot bell and tells you it did. Send us the fan details and we'll confirm the fit before anything is made.
Why an elliptical bell?
A square edged fan ring makes the air turn a sharp corner on its way into the fan. An elliptical inlet turns it gradually, so the blades see smoother air at the tips. That means more airflow and less tip noise from the same fan.
Does it fit the fan ring I already have?
Yes. The E-Bell™ is sectional and adjustable, so it goes onto the fan ring you already have. No new fan, no new construction.
